The main intention of this book is to save Wittenoom Gorge.

Awareness and concern equals conservation

Awareness of this extraordinary and precious gorge, of its amazing beauty and the flora and fauna that live within it.

Awareness of an integral part of who we are is connected to nature and our need to escape and immerse ourselves in her abundance.

Concern that this once pristine environment, polluted by man, should and can be cleaned up, because nature cannot do it on her own.

Concern that indifference by Government and mining companies prevents us having safe access to a beautiful part of our own country.

Conservation starts with you and me being the voice for the gorge.

Because there is no place like Wittenoom.
